About Lisa & Naomi

We are two sisters with a shared love of art, design, writing, reading and so much more. We have worked together since the first time Lisa handed Naomi a manuscript twenty years ago and said, “What do you think?” Since then, we have worked on many book projects including running a small press together. We even worked together on books when the books were accepted by a publisher. (Lisa insisted on Naomi being the cover designer.) It later became the most natural thing in the world to combine our other loves of art and design and knowledge of publishing to produce notebooks and then cards and prints and gifts. Willow Lane Art & Design was born.

Lisa has 25+ years of professional writing and editing experience, from journalism to award-nominated novels and non-fiction books. Some of her clients and students have gone on to publication and awards. Naomi has over twelve years of graphic design experience and web development with a diverse range of clients and projects. Naomi also writes her own books, and the two have had hours and hours of discussions about books and authors and the writing and publishing world.
