We’ll let you in on a little behind-the-scenes secret that probably won’t come as a big surprise: We make very little profit on our cards.

By the time the distributor takes its cut, and the printers take theirs at wildly different rates for every country, and the taxman helps himself to his rather generous share, and the post office claims what they’re owed, we’re left with a few dollars which are needed to reinvest back into the business. And after all of that, if we make profits, it splits two ways.

Let’s just say that it’s not a Get Rich Quick Scheme. For us, it’s entirely a labour of love.

That’s the reason why we can’t really offer sales. We already take the smallest cut we can, especially as this year we dropped the price of all cards so that it would be a better price for you if you wanted to sell our cards onward individually.

But recently our distributor announced it was dropping the price it charged us for some of our cards. Not by a lot, but by enough that we wanted to pass some of it on while it lasts. Instead of a smidgen off a wider selection of cards, we thought we’d pool the discounts and offer a better price on one or two cards. So we’re doing Card of the Month. Every month we’ll feature a new card and offer it for varied discounts. If you check back to our shop page around the beginning of each month, you’ll see the banner at the top of the page with the featured card and it will take you to the discounted cards.

Here are October’s cards (2024), our first featured cards. This month, enjoy our deepest discount. Click on the image below to take you to the discounted cards. And don’t forget to choose the right card for your region. If you’re shipping to the USA or CANADA, you’ll need the card created specifically for you. For everyone else, choose the ORIGINAL.

NOTE: If you’re seeing this after October 2024, go to our shop home page to see what cards are discounted. We hope to keep this going as long as our distributor offers these (possibly temporary) price reductions, and as long as there seems to be interest.

PS You may notice a new category here. We’ve just called it SHOP, meaning anything specifically shop and product-related. We realised that some things, like this, just didn’t quite fit into the other categories. And we also wanted to start telling you a little more about our latest products or introduce you to ones you might have missed.
