Or just for that uncluttered feel of white space. (We love white space in our journals. It’s like room to think and breathe.)
Shipping
Our notebooks are a bespoke product printed in the USA by a separate company to our other products and so are charged at a separate shipping rate. It may take up to two weeks for your book to be printed, bound and shipped, then allow the usual shipping times on top of that. Ships internationally.
About Willow Lane
We are two sisters, an artist and designer, with a passion for notebooks and journals. We genuinely believe a notebook can change your life. That is why our goal is to inspire the world one notebook at a time.
Every notebook is created with joyful deliberation. Lisa does all of the original hand-painted and hand-drawn art. Naomi takes that art and turns it into a beautiful notebook, designing covers and interiors. Willow Lane is the place where our art and design meet.
Our goal is to release at least ten new books a year, around two every two months, so keep checking back for our growing collection.
About this design:
On a wild windswept plain, as the sun sits low in the sky, the wind is settling, the recent storm clouds are departing, and the birds are returning to play and sing in the tree. This is golden hour.
A perfect little notebook for recording the happy and peaceful times of life, or for settling into the golden hours of your day to write, dream, create or just remember.
The original watercolour is repeated in part on the back. The spine says “Golden Hour” with two birds either side, making it an ideal blank canvas for anything you imagine a notebook for. Inside, each page has a single bird motif, each one facing the other.
Golden Hour would make a great gift, if you can bear to part with it. It is ideal for journal writers, dream makers, gratitude keepers, note-takers, ideas collectors, story creators, and anything else it inspires you to do. The slightly wider margins and wider lines allow for extra notes, scribbles, doodles, or just the serenity of white space.
